A filler metal electrode used in arc welding, consisting of more than one metal component combined mechanically. It may or may not include materials which protect the molten metal from the atmosphere, improve the properties of the weld metal or stabilize the arc.
Welding Tech
A groove weld in which weld metal extends through the joint thickness.
Joint penetration in which the weld metal completely fills the groove and is fused to the base metal throughout its total thickness.
Fusion that has occurred over the entire base material surfaces intended for welding, and between all layer and passes.
To render parallels to a certain line or direction.
